"Hillary Clinton may have coined the phrase "a willing suspension of disbelief" to describe the Bush administration, but watching the Obamabots in the media and Congress react to a rising tide of fed-up Americans, it's hard to think of a more appropriate description."
......after the first nationwide protest of our now out-of-control government, the sycophants on every television network took to the airwaves to belittle the legitimacy of what had taken place. Dan Harris explained on ABC News that the tea party protests were "actually largely orchestrated by people fronting for corporate interests." CBS News reporter Dean Reynolds proclaimed they were manufactured protests by a "fistful of rightward leaning websites and commentators

Chris Matthews suggested that the protests be ignored because these citizens are merely stooges of the healthcare industry.
snip
Indiana Democrat Baron Hill decided to take it up a notch by declaring citizens in his district who oppose the Democratic plan as "political terrorists." Classy.

But perhaps the funniest example of this nonsense came from Obama's Democratic National Committee. The group put out an ad to attempt to stem the tide of opposition, and to rally the Obamabots to his defense.
In the ad (replayed ad nauseam on MSNBC), the DNC claims to reveal the secret Republican cabal that is orchestrating these events. These surreptitious masterminds are trying to give the illusion of mass resistance to Obama-style socialism when there really is none, the DNC argues. After highlighting ominous commands from a mysterious directive that calls for protestors to spread out throughout the room and offer intermittent shouts of displeasure, the DNC voiceover concludes this behavior is "straight from the playbook of high-level Republican political operatives." As it turns out, the directive the DNC cites is actually a blog post from a man named Bob MacGuffie in Fairfield, Connecticut, who ran a Facebook page with 23 members and had a Twitter account with five followers!

So go ahead, liberal Democrats...mock us. Go on MSNBC and CNN and suggest we're all phonies. Continue ignoring what is boiling over and choose to believe that what you are seeing at your town hall meetings are just cardboard cutouts and non-voting, disengaged, mindless robots. Embrace your "willing suspension of disbelief." Nah, we're not real...but we are looking forward to Election Day.
You are so right!! I agree that election day should more accurately reflect the reality, however, with unions in their pockets and if they have their way on amnesty for illegal aliens and terrorists, how do we effectively turn the tide against the democrats and the Obamabots?
I believe the next elections (if we have any more)will be staged. The real votes will not be counted accurately. Our current government is a sham!!Shame on all you who voted for this mess!!!
I pray we show them just how real we are come the next election. But the truth is, will it be legitimate voting??? Yup, will it be staged? Obamabots, I love that term!!!!! Just blindly follow the leader...oh, what leader???
Mr. Heck is rather naive in believing that there will be real elections again. The next elections will be sham elections with the polls being patrolled by union thugs and racist militants. Welcome to the third world of Obamaland.
Lynne, I just posted an audio clip from Air America to another one of your threads. I forgot to point out that in that clip, Greg Powell, a liberal guy, actually says "What if the town-hallers are correct?"!!!
Well according to the media we are never real. We weren't real Hillary supporters who weren't voting for Obama, we weren't really democrats we were republican spies. Well look at us now, still going strong.

Yes!!! In 2010 I hope so much that people get out to vote and clean house!
I don't trust voting anymore, but we all have to let them know they work for us. We are not their serfs. Not yet, anyway.

I know. I was called a Republican, because I supported McCain/Palin in the election. These people could not comprehend that I could support Hillary, yet vote for McCain/Palin. Good grief! In their eyes, I had to have always been a Republican, because how could I not support Obama . . . News alert for them . . . I voted Democrat, probably 97% of the time.
Well, now they may have their wish, as I will, no doubt, be voting Republican in the next election(s). And, from the news, I am definitely not alone in this move. As a newly minted "Independent", my vote will be for the person that will uphold our Constitution and support capitalism. As a side note, I just hope their are some really viable candidates out there that are not corrupt . . .
It seems comical to me, now, the crazy things they called us, just because we didn't support the socialist.
I was called a freeper and had no idea at the time what a freeper was.
I think the race card has been played out, so now, they are trying to find any way possible to make people believe we don't matter. Let's make Donna Brazile eat those words!

I think we better first fight for paper ballots, hand counted if we want a "fair" election. I no longer trust computer counting after 2000, 2004 and 2008.

I agree. if our votes aren't counted (and for the person we actually voted for - not like May 31, 2008) then working to vote out the folks who are not representing our interests, is an exercise in futility.
