Nancy Pelosi flip-flopped on punishing the American hero Joe Wilson for speaking the truth.  Now she wants him to stand in shame in the middle of the House floor.  Well, we need to call and encourage Joe to stand firm, and NOT DO IT!!  His contact info is:

Wilson's, opponent's campaign treasury growing

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — A national Republican fundraising committee says U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson has raised more than $700,000 since yelling "You lie!" during President Barack Obama's health care address.

Andy Sere (sehr-AY'), spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said Friday that contributions have been pouring in since the South Carolina Republican's outburst Wednesday.

The heckle also has boosted campaign funds for Wilson's 2010 Democratic opponent.

Jessica Santillo of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee says Rob Miller has received more than $875,000 from 24,000 donors nationwide for his second bid to unseat Wilson.

Wilson apologized to Obama shortly after the speech. But Democratic leaders want him to apologize on the House floor.

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Democratic leaders are planning a House vote early next week on whether to admonish Republican Rep. Joe Wilson if he does not apologize on the House floor for yelling "You lie!" during President Barack Obama's health care address.

Brendan Daly, a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said Friday that party leaders decided they will likely move forward with a resolution of disapproval against Wilson if he doesn't apologize to Congress.

Wilson told Obama he was sorry shortly after the incident on Wednesday, but has refused requests to apologize on the House floor. Wilson's office says the congressman considers his initial apology sufficient. He has also been telling supporters he will continue to speak loudly about the issue and "not be muzzled."

The Democrats are acting like thugs like the Republicans did earlier in the decade.  Its really stupid to do this and it didn't work out for the Republicans and I am pretty sure it won't work for the Democrats either.

The Democrats are seeking to destroy Wilson.  They are such hypocrites.  Harry Reid called Bush names and he never apologized for his remarks.  Wilson has apologized, but the Dems will not be satisfied until they try to completely destroy him.

Did you notice, the dem opponent had to have just more in donations than Wilson? How phony can this be that they always have to a "one-up" on everyone else. More donations, more support, more endorsements, ect.

You're welcome, and thank you!  And I'm wondering about the way they worded the sentence about the opponent, it's not entirely clear that all that money wasn't raised from the BEGINNING of their campaign, rather than just since last week.confuse
