To me it sounds like Hillary is not liking this bill and is hinting that it's not the best plan.

Hillary Clinton, who dismissed as too timid Barack Obama's health reform ideas during last year's primary -- says she's astonished at the vehemence of the opposition considering how "conservative" Democratic plans have been.

Clinton -- whose White House-centric 1993 reform effort has been a what-not-to-do model for the Obama team -- still says she's optimistic a decent compromise can be struck by years' end provided everyone chills out.

"I's interesting that what we are proposing is fundamentally so conservative compared with so many of our friends and allies around the world  who do a much better job than we do in covering everybody and in keeping costs down and yet some of the political opposition is so overheated," the Secretary of State added, sounding very much like candidate Clinton in Iowa circa January 2008.

"So we just have to calm down here, take two aspirin, go to bed, think about it in the morning," said Clinton, appearing at a Brookings conference on Friday. "But I'm very optimistic."
