DISAPPOINTED SARKOZY SHIFTS GAZE FROM WASHINGTON: French President Nicolas Sarkozy, initially dubbed Sarko the American for his pro-U.S. stance, is finding it much tougher to deal with Washington than he had anticipated and is recalibrating his policies accordingly. Stung by perceived snubs from U.S. President Barack Obama and encouraged by the growing importance of the G20, Sarkozy is increasingly reaching out to non-aligned states in an effort to extend France's international influence.
WHITE HOUSE ATTACKS WORRY MODERATE DEMOCRATS: A White House effort to undermine conservative critics is generating a backlash on Capitol Hill and not just from Republicans. Its a mistake, said Rep. Jason Altmire, a moderate Democrat from western Pennsylvania. I think its beneath the White House to get into a tit for tat with news organizations. Altmire was talking about the Obama administrations efforts to undercut Fox News. But he said his remarks applied just the same to White House efforts to marginalize the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a powerful business lobby targeted for its opposition to climate change legislation.
For a US President to "snub" the head of another major country, who is not a threat, and who wants to be an ally/partner - where's the pay-off in that? That kind of behavior is just amateurish. Hillary would have responded with respect and honesty, to Sarkozy, and if a problem or sticking points existed, she would have either made a plan to work toward resolution, or plainly, concisely inform him of the reason for the impasse.
With regard to the moderate Dems being upset about the WH's war on FOX - All the Dems should be just plain embarrassed - not just the moderates, if they had the sense to see how stupid this makes the party look, not to mention subversive, anti-first amendment, childish, and just lame.
Obama's a man/child - privileged, narcissistic brat, who would rather risk the standing of other Dems than man-up and stop whining. It's pretty clear - he can't stand the heat (I believe a really wise woman reminded him and the public of that during the primary).

And you would think that the usurper's plummeting numbers and the obvious disapproval coming from all sides would make him look at his behavior and modify SOMETHING. I mean, that's what a NORMAL person would do. Not this guy! Must come from his horrible upbringing. If you've looked at his whole life story, it's not a pretty picture at all.
