I personally think that the Afghan situation is possibly just enriching the military-industrial complex, rather than really accomplishing anything, especially after all this time.  I wouldn't put anything past these money grubbers.

I am the opposite of an expert in this area, and believe we need a strong military presence in the Middle East.  Is that a contradiction to the statement above?

I clicked on the link, and was reading the comment. One sexist, neanderthal made an extremely sexist, mean comment about Hillary. I posted a few choice words in response. If anyone has time, they may want to check it out and say a word or two in response. It won't do any good, I know, because some people are just too ignorant to be educated.
