The appearance of “V,” a refried UFO show on ABC, suggests that President Barack Obama is a dangerous alien. What’s interesting is that this new series is by a major network that went unconscionably gaga over Obama last year.
Such reportage — the gushing, idolatrous positivism issued by Katie Couric and Charles Gibson in the 2008 race, a perfect, present-day equivalent of Aldous Huxley’s “feelies” — is viewed here as it is with Huxley: as totalitarian. Elizabeth Mitchell, Earth Mother incarnate from the “Lost” series, back from True North to form an underground, is definitely worth the watch. Maybe they are cruising under the censors as they do in “Lost,” like the 19th-century Russians did, but the insurgents here very definitely view the federal government with its “sleeper cells” bringing “endless wars,” duplicitously “spreading hope,” pitching healthcare bribes to the clerks and proles and cultivating the blind devotion of the young in the Maoist and Leninist traditions as totalitarian. This could get interesting.
Sounds good so far, right? But later on in the article, we get this:
We seek an abstract god king to fill an empty place we left behind in our outward reach. It is the political theology of the horde. Clearly Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sees her husband as a world god king — everything would just be great if Bill were just king of the world again — and Elvis did as well. For a time they were. But not now. That’s why nobody listens to Hillary anymore.
Obama has better sense and by any standard he — unlike Bill and Elvis — is anchored to reality by family, mother, grandparents, a sense of place and his own sense of balance. He, unlike Clinton and Elvis, doesn’t really believe he is a god king, although many of his followers do. He can make adjustments and I believe he will soon, particularly in that utopian voyage he inherited, the “last days” “war of Armageddon” in the Middle East.
Oooh Jen. There's no way I can say it! I'd be banned from this forum and probably the whole damned internet. lol
Obviously this POS author is not worth even going to the blog to comment on. lol Sometimes people are just to damn stupid to fool with.

I don't think it's worth going to the blog to comment, either. Obviously, he doesn't like the Clintons, OK, fine, whatever. The Constitution does not exclude asshats from the Bill of Rights. But the way I see it, the author outs his own self as an idiot by bringing Elvis into the mix. I mean, think about it-- this guy goes from V to Obama to the Clintons to Elvis and IIRC he mentions Sting also. The only people I've ever known who could get from Point A to Point WTF in such record time were either having a manic episode or else they'd been smoking some serious doobage.
I saw a part of an episode of the old "V" series yesterday, and the acting was awful. If the story goes as this brain-dead author says it does, I'll have to watch the new version!
We've all realized Obama is part of an evil group. This show isn't the first to suggest it's tied to ancient astronauts. There was also an article by a super right-wing author - a woman - who suggested that the reason Barack is in the position he's in is that we're being threatened with an invasion if he's not allowed to be "president." Couldn't find it just now, but I remember it was definitely from a strongly right-wing site.

OMG - I had not heard about this. This is certainly strange. If it's true , I think I'd rather have the invasion. lol - kidding of course. I think.

Totally delusional. Just when you think you've heard everything from BO supporters they somehow find a way to outdo themselves. They really live in an alternate universe.
BTW, I didn't read the whole thing, just the parts quoted here.
