Last night, Hannity of FOX News had two female panelists, both conservatives, discussing Sarah Palin’s new book, her great success selling 300,000 copies the first day and the derangement syndrome of the left in trashing her and calling her “dangerous.” Obama’s campaign arm, Organizing for America, is looking to raise $500,000 to combat this “dangerous” woman.
I agree that the debasing attacks on the former Governor are ridiculous. Hannity just conducted an interview with Palin which brought him huge ratings. He was respectful to her and I’m sure the principles she trumpets are similar to his own. That is fine. What is not fine is the nonsense he spewed with his panel as they all got fired up defending Sarah Palin. Hannity made the remark that you can bash a conservative woman all you want – but no one would touch a liberal woman. He basically said if you’re Hillary Clinton, you’re safe from this kind of treatment.
Well, Sean, if you’re reading this – here is a little refresher course on what the left did to Hillary in 2008. And by the way, you and your right wing cronies taught them well with the fifteen years of Hillary bashing she and we have had to put up with. Here are a few examples…
It isn't necessary to quote any of the examples. We've all heard them before.
Dumbass!!! Hannity that is. Apparently his head was up his ass when Hillary was getting kicked around all over the place. They drug her through so much mud it's amazing she held up - a testament to her strength was surviving it all.
Sean Hannity is lying and he knows it. He was the only commentator at the time to defend her while all that crap was going on. He knew he just wanted to mention her name because Hillary and Sarah mean higher ratings. He is an lying ass for this.
IMO, Hannity's one of the very worst of the Hillary bashers on FOX. Every time I hear Hannity or Oreilly slam Hillary, I just think how stupid they are. I mean, they apparently don't realize that we Hillary supporters who switched to FOX during the primary represent a big part of the reason for FOX's increasing number of viewers. If they were smart enough to recognize that, you would think they would want to keep us. That they would at least try to be more respectful of her. That they would move to a more moderate position, not continue to push their religious views, their anti-abortion propaganda, their ultra-right wing bias. If they would actually try being "fair and balanced" as they claim, they would be more likely to keep the moderate Dems and Hillary supporters. Returning to the same smart-a**, nut job mentality they had before the 2008 primary is a stupid move for FOX. I, for one can no longer stand to watch anyone on the network but Greta.
