5 Reasons for Democrats to vote for Scott Brown (Annie NYC) 01-16-10. Annie REALLY wants the Dems to lose.

Wow!  The MA election is really stirring up some strong, an for some of us conflicted emotion.  Annie NYC is anything but conflicted. She wants Brown to win - big time. She makes some very good points, and I can't say I'm going to cry if Martha loses.  The Dems have really screwed up with this HCR bill - not only in terms of content, but because of the total lack of transparency and the super speed with which they have tried to push it down our throats.  The whole issue of health care reform needs to be tabled.  The Dems need to regroup and get this right, or they may pass a plan that will be harmful to our health.  Equally tragic, by pushing through this flawed legislation, they are passing up a golden opportunity to take their time, launch a bi-partisan effort, allow public viewing of the discussions, and actually pass legislation that could greatly benefit Americans.  In so doing, they would also begin to repair some of the damage done by their botched handling of everything they've done under Obama's leadership.

Regardless of whether you agree with Annie NYC, you have to give her high marks for passion, and for remaining committed to doing as we said we would in 2008 - make the back-stabbing Dems pay for their betrayal of Hillary.  and for tossing 18 million voters under the bus.  I'm with Annie all the way on that point.

5 Reasons for Democrats to vote for Scott Brown

1. Obama's constant lies about how he would go about healthcare. No mandate, ("it would bankrupt families"), No tax on healthcare plans ("ridiculous"), a public option, no payroll tax increase on people making under $250,000 a year, etc, etc, etc, etc.

He sold something he didn't produce, and he should be held accountable for that. He should not be allowed to put through a bill he didn't work on, or fight for, or deliver what he said he would in any way what so ever. It's a ****ty bill BECAUSE he is the President. No other democrat in the Primary would have let this **** happen. He should not be allowed to put this bill through.

2. He needs to become a real president. A real president can get 1 or 2 votes from the other party, so far Obama has not secured 1 republican vote on healthcare, this is because he is inept. He needs to prove to the people that he deserves a 2nd term. If he cannot get 1 vote from a person from the other party, he will not be re-elected, which he does not deserve to be.

3. The tax increases he is proposing (even botox? c'mon) and the bill's inability to lower the cost of healthcare, needs to be stopped in it's tracks.

4. If Obama fails, and has to leave the WH, Michelle has to go with him!! Woohoo!!!!!! This alone should make you want to volunteer. Imagine her gone, gone, gone. Um, HELLO! Vote Scott Brown!

5. Obama is dangerous, and everything he puts through is a failure. So far he has failed the commander in chief test more than once. His stimulus plan was a FAILURE. Do you want this man with his hands in your healthcare? A man who has no proposal to increase the number of doctors when millions of people get their new mandated insurance? C'mon. Speaking of dangerous, I'm sure we've all notice that Bill Clinton is STILL being smeared as a racist. This began during Obama's campaign. Obama could have reeeled it in, but chose not to. The man is dangerous. DO NOT let him change healthcare and DO NOT let him get a second term.

Bonus reasons to put Scott Brown in:
-Biggest Obama burn EVER.
-If Obama campaigns in Mass and Brown still wins, this is Obama's 3rd time campaigning for a loss. He will be considered toxic.
-Obama will be shaking in his boots and crying in the Lincoln bedroom, don't you want that? Ah yes.
-Biggest Obama burn EVER.

Personally, my whole life I've been voting for democrats. Until the year they smeared the Clintons, and myself, as racist. I will probably vote for a few democrats in the future, like for the Gov. of New York, but after what the Democratic Party did to one of the greatest democrats of our lifetime, Hillary Rodham Clinton, they can rot in hell. Help put them in their own personal hell, vote for Scott Brown. Besides, Brown will be up for re-election in '12, so if he really sucks, he'll get the boot. : ).

If Scott Brown wins, it is certainly the fault of the Obama administration... the many mistakes in the Congress in not taking into consideration people's feedback along the way and making meaningful choices that keep people's best interest in the forefront.

Hats off to Annie NYC....excellant points she has made and I too can honestly say that I will have a very hard time voting DEM again. I was so shattered after all the 2008 election BS. What the hell happened to this country, I do not know, but what I do know is that I DO NOT like it. Re-registered as an Independant right after the election and plan to stay that way. Call it my way of saying enough is enough. We worked hard throughout the 2008 primaries and caucases and for what?????? It was nothing but a fiasco and a sham in the end and the one who won is not the one who should be sitting in the WH at this time and we all know it.
The misogomy and sexism the Democratic party showed and the lack of support for their best candidate told me once and for all that the Party system has to go and our whole political system needs to change drastically.

Let's hope in 2012 we can make a big enough difference this time to really make some CHANGES and once again have some HOPE for this country.

This last year has been one big joke and guess what people........the joke is on all of you who voted for this asshat.

I HOPE THE DEMS COMES CRASHING DOWN........and I for one will be there beating the pavement to help make it happen. They haven't licked me yet and the fight goes on.

As a moderate, my angst with Dems is not personal, rather that the party has shifted much much farther to the left.

It is very difficult to swing all the way to the conservative right on social issues.

We badly need a party of centrists/moderates.

On a related topic, I was chatting with a friend who pointed out that in all recent "upset" victories for Repubs, the common factor is that they are moderate Republicans who are winning.  I hope both Republicans and Democrats make a note of this.  It has a lot of implications on who can/cannot win against incumbent Pres.Obama.

I resolved after the Democratic Party hi-jacked the election in 2008, that I would not vote Dem again - at least until the party paid for treating women like dirt. The best way to make them pay - not just for revenge, though I'll have to admit, I would really, really like some revenge - but to let the party leaders know that it can't sustain wins without the support of PUMAs and other Hillary supporters. I want MSM to have to admit that they picked a loser, and that it was a huge violation of ethics for them to pick a candidate in the first place, and to practically erect a shrine to him right on the news desk. I want the country to know that the Dems rigged this whole thing from the get-go, and when they realized they couldn't pull it off, they took away votes that rightfully belonged to Hillary. And, every evil deed was overlooked by MSM, or spun to appear perfectly appropriate.

So, I guess the question, for me, at least, is - which better accomplishes the goal - to see a woman elected or to see a Dem candidate defeated. Even though early on I thought supporting Coakley was the right thing to do, I think my own commitment to seeing the Democratic Party held accountable for the travesty perpetrated on Hillary Clinton and her supporters would be better served by the defeat of Dem Candidates. I don't want ultra-conservatives in control, but it may be worth it to take a few hits in the short term in order for things to improve in the long term. I think Sanders is right about the moderate stance being the way to go. And, I think after losing some senate and house seats, the Dems will have learned (again) that when they follow the elite liberal among them, they lose.

My angst is personal because the party buried their moderate candidate, the most experienced candidate and more importantly, the candidate with a proven track record of being to work both sides of the aisle in 2008.  I will never forgive them for it and they are going to reap the "rewards" not just in 2010, but also 2012.

Instead of 8 years of sensible, responsible leadership....we are going to have 4 years of "talking points" and the Repubs back in power again.

We need a moderate party NOW.

I am also torn by this.  I want Martha to win she was a loyal Clintonista but I also want the Democrats to feel the pain from the voters.  If Mass goes so does the rest of the Country.  If Obama can't win a blue state like Mass then how is he gonna win NY and PA and several other states.

I want Scott to win BIG TIME. I want Hillary and Sarah to win BIG TIME.

I want Barry, Me-chelle, Harry, Nancy, Axelgrease, Valerie Jarrett, John Kerry, Timmy Geithner, all Wall Street CEO's, everybody in ACORN and SEIU, Chuck
Schumer, Olberboy, Tweety, Charles Gibson, Tucker Carlson, Campbell Brown-nose and Katie Courage-less to go live exactly like women do at the lowest level of sociity in Taliban controlled conditions in the mountains of Afghanistan for one year, stripped of all their material resources, friends family and any media personal or private.

Here's tele script for Coackley:

"it is our chance to protect a democratic agenda that puts Average Americans ahead of Wall Street and the special interests. It's a big job, can you help?"

I want Scott Brown to win and WIN BIG. I have donated to him and phone banked for him.

I will NEVER forget the thuggery of what the america-loathing marxist did to Hillary and her supporters. and yes it was personal.

When my mom got her citizenship she registered as a democrat, she and I voted for dems ALWAYS.

when she supported Hillary, she was called a racist to her face. Imagine that! a dark skinned older women who has a thick accent being taunted by white Obots for being a racist.

I WILL NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE the UnDemocratic Party for this.

this is not about coakley, I respect her for standing by Hillary, but this is beyond her now. She promises to be a 60th vote -- a RUBBER STAMP for the lunancy coming out of DC. THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED.

I hope all the Hillary dems in MA remember what was done to Hillary in 2008, vote for Scott Brown (who actually seems like a very moderate repub, I've researched his record)

I hope they vote for Scott Brown just so they can say while they are voting "this is for the crap you thru against Hillary and Sarah!"

I'm right there with you and I love the "Campbell Brown nose and Katie Courage-less re-names....so damn appropriate. You cracked me up. Thanks for the smile and chuckle this morning. Right there with ya!

One woman told me this morning that she was sick of Martha knocking down her opponent,
that this is turning her off, and is so degrading to her. She wants Martha to talk about
what SHE CAN DO. Divided is what she is at this point.

I think there are alot of people who are sick of it. We all had our share of nasty campaigning in 2008 and look at where it got us.

A Commander in Chief who made a whole lot of promises that he has no clue how to produce let alone keep.

I get really irritated with people (DEMS) especially at this point who do not learn from their past mistakes.

LOL Texas Playwright.  I think that people are sick and tired of the Democrats not listening.  I feel for Martha she was so loyal to Hillary but if her loss will make those blue dogs vote against this law I will be happy.
