Republican Scott Brown’s health-care plan for his own staffers became a political football yesterday after rival Democrat Martha Coakley revealed Brown doesn’t pay for health insurance for his workers.
“It indicates what he’d do in Washington,” Coakley said at a union event yesterday. “He’s not even on the side of his own employees.”
Brown defended the decision, saying members of his small staff had found insurance on their own.
“The people who are working for me, they’re happy,” he said.
I'm glad I don't live in MA. This is one big mess.
