LOL, I had seen this earlier and thought I had posted my comment. LOL I must have done a "Show Preview" and then exited!
Anyways, gosh, Pres.Obama has totally vested himself in getting the HC reform done. He is not going to back out now. That's for sure.
Whatever we are hearing about him backing out is pretense. It would be suicidal for him to back out after those many firm statements of completing in 2009.. and then early this year.
He has it half in the bag with Senate having already approved the HC bill. Just watch as the pressure comes down on the House of Reps members to pass it. Yes, Pelosi said she does not have the votes needed, but that's just one snapshot.. They are working this very hard behind the scenes.

I agree...that is why Dodd is saying they need to take a one month vacation from the healthcare debate....so they can strategize how to shove this piece of crap down our throats.
Because this isn't about the people, this is about keeping the shine on their chosen "golden boy."

It's just something to keep o-moron busy and everyone else distracted until the Creepy Corporate Cabal ousts Obama in 2012!

Well, I really really want to see some health care reform passed.. BUT...
- the House version of the reform is way too punitive. And it has the Stupak Amendment. - the Senate version of the reform has no public option. And it makes poor people's exercise of pro-choice options heavily influenced by economic factors.
The Senate version can still be passed by the House and amendments put in place after the fact, and this is probably where the Congress is headed.
The WH has put in too much stock in the HC reform to back out at this stage. This is clear when Pres.Obama once again drove a stake into the ground in Ohio yesterday that it is full throttlel ahead on HC.
So, once again, we have to influence what might come thru in the amendments. We need to talk with our congressmen and -women.

He is in a no win situation if he signs this bill its politiical sucide for both himself and the Democratic Party. Now they can ignore the will of the American people if they want to but if they do then MA will only be one of the first to go red NY will follow and the rest will fall like dominos.
