The last time Barrack Obama was in Ohio was during the Democratic primary race against Hillary Clinton.
During his stay in Ohio he was rebuked by the Ohio Secretary of State for trying to put un-credentialed and uncertified campaign workers into polling places, (Ohio refused to allow his campaign workers access without proper credentials) was caught lying about NAFTA when notes of a meeting were released that showed he sent Austan Goolsbee one of his current economic advisors to the Canadian Embassy to tell them to ignore what Obama was saying publicly about NAFTA, that its just for politics, and during a televised debate with Hillary Clinton, when asked whether he was waffling on his promise to use federal campaign funding if he is the nominee, said:
"If I am the nominee I will sit down with John McCain and make sure we come up with a system that is fair to both sides."
Needless to say Obama never sat down with John McCain and reneged on his pledge to use federal funding which he made both verbally and in writing.
Now Obama has returned to Ohio this time with yet another town hall meeting, to talk about the economy, the subject that resulted in his NAFTA lie a little more than a year ago.
Obama talking about the economy in Ohio is not a good sign either for Ohio which lost 265,000 jobs even before the downturn, and its not a good sign for the economy on the whole.Because the last time Obama was here, he didnt tell the truth about much of anything. Which might be why he lost to Clinton in a landslide. More . . .
