Barack Obama administration losing too many white women voters

In the last year or so Barack Obama's following of white women voters has grown smaller and smaller. This is due to many factors but chief among them is not choosing Hillary Clinton as his Vice President and the increasing popularity of Sarah Palin. John McCain's campaign waited until President Obama made his selection for Vice President and then in a move that shocked many at the time McCain chose Palin. That;s when in my opinion McCain went from being a legitimate candidate to a desperate and shameless spin doctor. It worked, after the Democratic Primaries many white women swung over to the McCain camp. It wasn't enough to win but Palin's following has grown stronger ever since.

The recent surprise victory by Scott Brown in the Boston special election is a prime example of the power of white women voters. They overwhelmingly supported Brown. Many crossed party lines. This is significant because it shows that white women will band together  and want their voices heard. Martha Coakley did not appeal to them. The images of Brown constantly surrounded by his two daughters was a big part of the Brown strategy.

So what can the Obama administration do to help out Democrats come mid term elections? They must remain very cognizant of the fact that white women are very sensitive to the issues. Democrats are losing the battle for white women voters. If they feel their vote is not being respected white women voters will make a statement at the polls. The Obama administration has to dust off Hillary Clinton and get her out on the campaign trail. It would have been better to send Secretary Clinton to Boston than her husband.

There would be no Sarah Palin with out a Hillary Clinton, it's up to the Obama administration to remind white women voters of that fact.

Hillary is the key. If they do not put Hillary in play soon the damage will be irreversible.

Whatever is stopping the Obama administration from fully utilizing Secretary Clinton's talents must be dealt with as soon as possible. It's of utmost importance. Do anything, leak to the press that Hillary called Palin a media slut, something to stop the blood loss.
