You're a better woman that I, Sanders. I just can't watch or listen to the man. I'm sure he'll be spinning - talking that crap he always talks.

Education, renew reforms, excell in 21st century, and that coming from our President to spoke to 6th graders using the telepomter.
He's going to create 2 millions jobs, advancing farmers and small business to export more goods...........Hell the farmers lost their farms, and big business sold them out. S.F. is building and repairing new bridges, and all the steel is coming from China......... wth?

I cannot and won't be watching Ofraudo. Why bother? Lies, lies, and more lies along with excuses, excuses, excuses. I've heard it all before.
Sanders, I am curious as to why you think it's such a historic speech?
Historic in length....Lord that man loves to hear himself talk. Reader's Digest version for those that didnt watch....Blame Bush, campaign speech, Blame Bush some more...I AM DOING HEALTHCARE whether you like it or not.
Sanders, I am curious as to why you think it's such a historic speech?
It is his first SOTU address... And whether he succeeds or fails, they will point to this speech some day. So, it is a historic speech.
What it turned out to be is a tone deaf speech. He has not listened to the nation at all. So, people's reaction and gauging favorable-unfavorable ratings over the next few weeks is going to be very interesting.
I did not like the open chastisement of the SCOTUS justices. It is NOT the venue in which to say anything to them. He could have paid respect and then said I am appealing to the two houses of the Capitol to do such and such.
He is hell bent on passing cap & trade; that does not bode well for him.
He has still not left the blame game behind. Tired of it.
The pitch on Pell grant was directly from Hillary's primary speech.
There were a couple of sound bites I liked. One in particular is about America being the country that always stands up for human dignity. I like that part. A LOT.
He put a stake in the ground about HCReform.. but then, did not give it any leadership direction.
The speech was too long. Too wordy, too high pitched. In the beginning, it was lower pitch and I liked it better. The higher the pitch the less disconnected he comes across.
All in all, C-. Barely a pass on content and platform. F on inspiration

By contrast, McDonnell's speech was impressive, although not inspirational. It was more impactful in far less time. He ws more effective in 10 minutes than Pres.Obama was in 90 minutes.

Wonder who's going to fall for his lies THIS time? Then, there will be all the hand wringing again: "Oh, why did I believe him? Barack lied over and over and over again, and I believed him AGAIN!!"
Sounds like an abusive relationship to me, for those who participate in it.
