Its hard for me to copy and paste because I am visually impaired right now. Here is my rant on Chris Matthews and his comment that he forgot Obama was black. I may not like this President but I will not stand by and let the Liberals and Democrats make racist statements. Funny NO ONE who opposes Obama makes racist statements but those people who voted for him do.
What Chris Matthews said was inappropriate to utterly wrong.
He misused his microphone to remind people "BY THE WAY, THIS PRESIDENT IS BLACK." Why?
Some of us do not see color Chris. Unlike you, we really listen to the words, tone and body language. The color is not a factor in listening. It never is.
I hope you, Chris Matthews, do not interpret people's words with a lens colored differently for different people. If you do, you are perpetrating racism.
Your comment was insensitive at best and racist at worst. I am more inclined to think it is the latter.. The nation was watching - you had a LOT of audience - and you reminded them that this person is black.. just in case they too forgot, is it??

Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center, a conservative media watchdog organization, said the remarks reveal a prejudice on Matthews' part.
"What Chris Matthews is saying is that he doesn't believe African-Americans are capable of giving speeches like that."
