Republicans got a big morale boost with victory in the Massachusetts Senate race, but Democrats begin the 2010 election year with more cash in the bank, Bloomberg reported Monday.
The Democratic National Committee and the fundraising affiliates of congressional Democrats reported raising $37.9 million through Dec. 31, 2009. That's almost double the $19.4 million the Republicans had at the end of last year. (Emphasis added)
