I love to read D.K. Jamaal's articles at Post-Partisan Examiner. He always has great insights, and he is an original PUMA! Wonder if the the Dems have a plan to pull a rabbit out of the hat for Oil Can Harry (or register a few cartoon characters to vote for him-lol). If they don't work some of that "magic" (like busing in a load of folks from out of state) to get Reid some votes, he can start cleaning out his desk. Couldn't happen to a more deserving Obamacrat - as Jamaal calls them. Nevada word of mouth: Harry Reid ain’t getting re-elected D.K. Jamaal
Nevada has one of the most politically intriguing political scenes in the country. Nevada holds the political fate of Senate Majority Leader in its hands – and with it the fate of much of President’s Obama’s agenda.
Reid trails badly in his re-election bid; in a year already stuffed with bad news for Obamacrats, Reid could become the second sitting Democratic Senate Majority leader to be unseated by a losing re-election bid.
Post-Partisan Examiner is in Nevada this weekend to asses Reid’s chances, and the results are not pretty for the Obamacratic Party.
Sarah Palin was here on March 27, rallying Tea Partiers in Harry Reid’s hometown of Searchlight, Nevada. The Tea Party mindset seems to have taken hold here. We have been asking the locals two questions. 1) Are you voting for Harry Reid. 2) Why not? We haven’t been able to ask “why so?” because no one we have spoken to expressed any desire to see Reid back in office in the next Congress.
Reasons given ranged from the obvious (the health care bill, dislike of the national Obamacrat agenda) to the not so obvious (alleged weakness on the part of powerful Senate Majority leader, him being representative of the worst of the two headed partisan evil.)
From what we are seeing and hearing, the Democrats will be electing a new leader whether or not they retain their Senate Majority. Which means that Chuck Schumer is probably the only Beltway Democrat happy about Reid’s bad news.
It was we, the people; not we, the white male citizens; nor yet we, the male citizens; but we, the whole people, who formed the Union.... Men, their rights and nothing more; women, their rights and nothing less. ~Susan B. Anthony
