So according to this, businesses have seen a 30% increase in profitability, and are sitting on their cash, over $1 TRILLION dollars, and not hiring because they are either automating, doing more with less workers since those lucky enough to have a job are killing themselves trying to hold onto it, or preparing to open new businesses in India instead of Peoria, and yet Boehner and the Repubs say they need to extend the tax cuts to the rich in order to stimulate jobs, when they are sitting on this much equity and refusing to hire in order to maximize profits?  As far as I'm concerned they should tax the hell out of them UNLESS they start to hire.  Let them tax their savings, anything they can, and take deductions only for the new people they hire, and I bet there will be a hiring frenzy!

Exactly, the rich need tax incentives not tax breaks. If you hire new workers in Detroit, then you get a tax break. If you hire new workers in China, you pay up the azzzz.

Got to all every Dem in Senate and every moderate Repub to vote on the tax proposal on the table that is coming to them from the House. Only way to get the FIRST part of what you say. Then, there is the second part, and that's going to take even more work.
