WOW! EVERYONE HERE AT WORK LAUGHED WHEN I SENT OUT INVITES TO OUR GOVERNOR, SENATORS AND OBAMA. IT IS A FUND RAISING WINE TASTING AND PRIME RIB DINNER EVENT TO TRY TO RECOUP SOME OF THE $50,000 IN FUNDING CUTS TO OUR SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS BY OUR COUNTY OFFICIALS. CHET CULVER OUR GOVENOR HAS ALSO REPLIED AND CANNOT ATTEND DUE TO PRIOR OBLIGATIONS BUT IS SENDING A DONATION. JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU DON'T KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY.
I'M SURE HE WON'T BE ATTENDING BUT I WAS SURPRISED WHEN I ACTUALLY RECEIVED A REPLY.
WHAT I WOULDN'T DO TO BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN AND TALK FACE TO FACE WITH THAT MAN ABOUT MY CONCERNS ON THE ISSUES. AND MAYBE HAVE A BEER!!!! LOL!!!

Should he actually show up...among the health care questions, do you think someone could ask him why he didn't care about millions of people's votes in the caucus states?
