Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will be in New York City tomorrow to visit the Manhattan Charter School. Clinton will host a special event at the school while President Barack Obama delivers a well publicized address to the nation's youth live from Virginia.
Clinton will visit the school at 11 am. The White House has dispatched several key members around the nation to support the President and send a meaningful message to school children. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will visit Amqui Elementary School in Madison, TN, while Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will be at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA.
Commerce Secretary Gary Locke will visit Holton Elementary School in Richmond, VA, while Defense Secretary Gates visits George Washington Village Community Center in Fort Belvoit, VA. The speech, which is approximately 2300 words, has drawn great controversy from conservatives across the nation.
In response to the criticism, the White House released the text of the speech a day early to quell any misconceptions. The President will deliver the speech live on C-SPAN. It can also be viewed live onwww.whitehouse.gov/live.

I'm sorry, but even if this school initiative of Obama's was not totally inappropriate, self-serving, and an attempt to garner new blood for his cult, it would still be, at the least, a huge waste of resources. My lord - he's been on television more than The Golden Girls lately, and has spent the past 8 months taking advantage of every photo-op around. There's no way to avoid seeing his face everywhere you go ( and I've tried). The positive impact he'll make on these kids is minimal.
I just hate to see Hill have to trot out to be a "supporter" of Rev. Moon's latest effort to shower the world with his super-cool (eyes rolling - actually eyes rolling uncontrollably) presence. But, Hill's visit will be wonderful for those school kids, and one day they can tell their kids about how Hillary Clinton once spoke to their class. That would have to be a really cool thing. .

Boy does he find a way around the laws this is the man responsible for enforcing a law. What does a charter school in Manhatten have to do with being SOS. Well I am sure she will just visit not say to much.
Not only is he sending her out, but and this is a BIG BUT --- NYCpublic schools don't open until tomorrow!!! The school she is going to is a NON-UNION private Charter School. Now there's a BIG "stick you in the eye" to all the Teacher's Unions who he supported him throughout the General Election. Which is why and don't understand why HRC is going to a NYC NON-UNION school, they could have sent her somewhere else in the State or Country to a UNION School -- BUT they Choose NOT to. Talk about back-stabbing the Unions, (side note: especially here in NYC were Mayor Bloomberg (R/I) is looking to steal/buy his way into a 3 term. Bloomberg has been HORRIBLE to the Teachers and the Public Schools) I guess giving Obama "cover" during his speech is all his administration cares about and the H*** with the rest of them.
I hope the UNION Teachers in NYC, and throughout the Country, are taking note today -- Obama cares about Obama, NOT you -- now remember that in 2010 and 2012.
