TOPIC: TRUTH OUTS: Carlson first reporter to admit Obama's media plot to smear Clintons as racist (post-partisan examiner)
Carlson admission finally confirms that Obama’s campaign was as divisive, vituperative, heartless, scheming, unethical, malevolent, destructive, and manipulative as many Americans have long believed.
The evidence has long been there – Jesse Jackson’s Kanye-like implication that Hillary did not care about Katrina victims, the campaign’s infamous South Carolina race memo, rumors of how the Obama camp threatened black superdelegates, and the odious “Hillary wants Obama assassinated” story they tried to sell.
But Carlson becomes the first corporate media journalist to actually say, yes, the Obama campaign tried to use me to sell the Hillary-is-racist crap.
Carlson, taking offense that Obamacrats are now trying to take the racial high road after their racist witch-hunt last year, called the Obama campaign out on Great van Susteren’s show:
Tucker Carlson: "But let me just say, very clearly, it was the Obama campaign that first bought up the race question.
"It was the Obama people who smeared the Clintons as racists – Bill and Hillary Clinton. They made the case to reporters off-the-record, including me, that the Clintons were racists. They started this.
"So for him to get up with a straight face and say the media is bringing this race issue up… No, it was your campaign that started this."
Greta Van Susteren: "How did they bring it up?"
Tucker Carlson: "By this whisper campaign. That Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton were somehow opposing Barack Obama because they did not like the fact he was black.
"And that various statements they made, remember Hillary Clinton famously said that of course it was Lyndon Johnson who signed the Civil Rights Act, you know. Martin Luther King might have advocated for it but it was the president who signed it. Somehow that became a racist statement according to allies of Barack Obama.
"He didn’t tell them to be quiet then. He allowed that to happen. Allowed, I think, the slur against the Clintons to fester. That they were somehow animated by bigotry was outrageous. And he did nothing to clear the air.
"So, I don’t know… I don’t want to be lectured by him, at this stage, as a member of the media, in a sanctimonious way. That somehow we’re perpetuating unhealthy race talk."
Carlson is brave for finally telling it like it is, beyond any doubt, that the corporate media has long known Obama to be a race-baiter from day one.
Will any other reporter be honest enough to second what Tucker Carlson revealed?

I hope this is the needed excuse HRC needs to resign and run for NY Governor. She needs to get out of Obama's administration so when the sh** hits the fan, she stays clean for her 2012 or 2016 run for the White House.

Yes! I totally agree. Whether she runs again, or not (and I so hope she does), she needs to distance herself from this failed presidency.
BTW - I applaud Carlson's willingness to FINALLY be the first to tell the truth about this - the other MSM talking heads have certainly not been honest about it, but it would have been nice if he would have set the record straight a little sooner.
We all knew the O camp was lying and race baiting - but a lot of Americans did not know it.
Of course, the Dem party leaders were fully aware that, of all people, the Clinton's were not racist, and were being falsely accused of being so. Yet, none of the Dems were willing to speak the truth, either.

I saw him on Greta and he was great! And I don't like the guy but he was spot on. I was so happy people are bringing this up so history isn't changed. We need to remind and bring up these issues all the time.

I know what you mean, mslas - I don't care for Tucker's little uptight self either, lol. But, you're right, the record needs to be set straight.
Hey - maybe that would be a good focus for an energized PUMA group - Preserving Herstory.

I hate Tucker, I love Greta. Tucker Carlson was another one of those pigs piling on the sexism toward Hillary before and during the primaries. I was ecstatic when he lost his show on MSNBC (that was before I stopped watching them because of Olbermann).
Greta getting him to say this on her show gets many many kudos from me. Greta won't let this die!!!!
Of course this is no surprise to any of us. Actually, it's really not a surprise to anyone if they would be honest with themselves. Everyone knew what was going on when Oasshat pointed the finger at the Clinton's as being racist. But, like with everything else he has done they look the other way. I wish the whole thing would come crashing down on him and that someone would hold him accountable for his dispicable behavior.

stamp! stamp! I love that Greta. Carlson's a little mean spirited twit, imo.

After every thing Bill and Hillary did to promote equality my stomach still turns at those who feel so easily for the racist bit. I am still bitter at the fact that while Bill and Hillary were called racist President Obama got away with calling his grandma a typical white person(imagine hillary and bill calling someone even someone they knew a typical black person) and his preacher friends got away with making fun of hillary basically cause she had the audacity to be white. Rev Wrights comments oh Hillary wasnt a poor black boy, and the other disgusting preachers comments imitating oh waah waah Im white Im white. People just let this go. They went after the blacks who supported Hillary. I know I felt the heat from some of my friends. We will never have an honest discussion about race until we realize their is a double standard that is going on that needs to stop.
As far as Tucker Carlson goes, it is indeed too little, too late. But if it helps wake up a few people and change some attitudes, then I'll take it. Both No Quarter and Hillary is 44 have good articles up about Tucker's interview.

STAMP! But I do wonder what in tarnation Hill was thinking with her "Lyndon Johnson" comment. It was not racist, of course, but inartful, to say the least. I just don't get it. Maybe someone else does.
