In an interview for broadcast Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," Clinton says she's never met the one-time GOP vice presidential hopeful and former Alaska governor and thinks it would be very interesting to sit down and talk with her.
Clinton was responding to a question about a passage in Palin's new book. Palin writes that if she and Clinton ever meet for coffee, "I know that we would fundamentally disagree on many issues." But Palin says, "my hat is off to her hard work on the 2008 campaign trail."
Clinton, in Singapore for a meeting of world leaders, says she's ready to have a cup of coffee and maybe she could make a case on some of the issues on which the two women disagree.
I happened to catch Hillary on Meet the Press yesterday and two thoughts crossed my mind.
1) She is being very, very careful on what she is saying about omoron. Hillary says a lot of uhms and ahhs and she hesitates as well. She is hiding something she knows about the idiot and she is having to keep many secrets.
2) When the subject is not about the clown, Hillary lights up, she smiles and laughs and her speech is clear and strong. And, she looks beautiful. Even though she is a Scorpio (they are good at keeping secrets), she is an October Scorpio (people born in October can not stand injustice).
It's easy to tell when she is struggling with 'injustice'.
The one thing she said about obozo that was very truth telling (and funny). She said (something close to this), "the American people were not in a good place when president obama took office".
Hillary was referring to Bush being bad and the American people hating him, but it sounded to me that she said that we were not happy when o-idiot took office.
Hillary is clearly caught in a web of lies, and it must be very hard for her to live with.
I'd love for Hillary to get together over coffee with Sarah Palin, too - to talk about a Clinton/Palin presidential ticket in 2012. Ahhhh, what a drive. Yes, there are differences but they would balance each other out!!!
I have also noticed Hillary's expressions and mannerisms changing whenever she has to discuss Bozo. And yes, she is also very careful with her words. For instance, when they asked her about the decision to try KSM in NYC, Hillary described how this decision was made and who made it. Translation: "This isn't part of my job, I wasn't involved, so don't blame me."
Also, when asked about Sarah's book, Hillary said that it would be improper to comment on, since she is no longer in politics. Hillary said, in her position as Secretary, she can't say anything on the subject. Hillary even used the words "being very careful" when discussing the "wars" and o-jerko's decision. She said that oblamo is being very careful in his decision and listening to the american people, but can't make everyone happy.
It does sound to me that Hillary is being more careful on what she is responsible for, than trying to protect the idiot. She is having to walk a very thin line. It must be exhausting.
I would love to see them meet and talk over coffee. She can't comment on her book because she is SOS but when she decides to run for Governor soon she can say what she really feels. I can't wait to campaign for her again.
