In her memoir, “Going Rogue,” Ms. Palin offers a political olive branch to Mrs. Clinton, saying it was only after her own experience on the national campaign trail that she came to agree with the former presidential contender’s complaints about biased news coverage.
In an appearance Sunday morning on “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” the host read Mrs. Clinton a passage from the Palin book:
“Should Secretary Clinton and I ever sit down over a cup of coffee, I know that we will fundamentally disagree on many issues. But my hat is off to her hard work on the 2008 campaign trail. A lot of her supporters think she proved what Margaret Thatcher proclaimed: ‘If you want something said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman.’ ”
Mrs. Clinton smiled and replied, “Well, you know, I’ve never met her.”
“And look,” she continued, “I’d look forward to sit down and talk with her. Obviously, we’re going to hear a lot more from her in the upcoming weeks with her book coming out, and I would look forward to having a chance to actually get to meet her.”
On “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” (I thought it was "meet the press") anyway, on the Sunday morning show I saw, Hillary was put on the spot and ASKED if she would sit down and have coffee with Sarah. What was Hillary going to say? No, I don't have the time for coffee or for Sarah Palin!?! This is another example of the media twisting words and lying to the american people.
Hillary was ASKED and she responded with politeness and kindness.
What I find interesting, is that the two have never met. How is that possible?
They swim in the same circles and I'm sure they both have been in Washington D.C. at the same time and they didn't make a point to meet each other?
I would say, Hillary and Sarah don't really care for each other. I can understand Hillary not seeking out Sarah, but Sarah not making a point to meet Hillary Clinton is telling.
I believe a talk between the two would be great. They are the only two people in the world who knows what the election of 2008 was. They are two different wome from two different parties yet their experience was the same. I hope they talk just to have that bond.

I don't find it too hard to believe that Hillary and Sarah have never met. Sarah has been mostly way up in Alaska until late 2008. Governors don't go to DC all that often. I know mine doesn't.
And then after Mac picked her as his running mate, Sarah was on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, Hillary was either in the Senate or out campaigning for That One or for other Dems. After the election, Sarah went back to Alaska while Hillary went everywhere. Now Sarah's doing a US book tour and Hillary is in Asia.
