U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is praising a decision by a Brazilian court to grant custody of a child to his American father.
Clinton says she was pleased with the decision after Sean Goldman was "wrongfully detained" in Brazil for five years.
Clinton says she appreciated the assistance of Brazil in moving the case forward. She also says in a statement that she hopes the legal process is now over and that Sean Goldman can be reunited with his father. He lives in New Jersey.
