As a lifelong Democrat until last year, I cannot resist visiting sites where people who claim to be strong Dems congregate.  We were once allies who believed in the same principles, and I wonder in my heart of hearts:  What happened to these people?

Well, what is happening is that they can't ignore reality any longer.  Looky what I found this morning (all in quotes):

I think he's a member of the other side who was hand-picked to let us think we won.

I don't believe there's any such thing as working with him because the whole point of his presidency is to work against us (hopefully without our noticing).

I don't know whether there is anyone we can work with that will be allowed to get into power, but I'm sure this one is a republican mole.

As some of you know, that is my theory, also.  Karl Rove is unscrupulous, but he's also a good political strategist.  I saw him on Hannity in the run-up to the election, and he could have taken BO down.  But Unka Karl knew that Barry would destroy the Democratic Party for the foreseeable future, so he sat back and smiled his Cheshire Cat smile.  And it looks like he's getting his wish!

Very interesting to see that in DU.


Meanwhile, I heard a new coinage to summarize the President's actions favoring businesses since taking office. A good friend of mine says the President is a proponent of "Corporate socialism." Given the bailouts and TARP and ARRA; things that have managed to increase profits, save companies, but not create jobs. I have to agree with that coinage.

DU LMAO this is to funny.  Well I guess they are sorry they messed with Hillary at least with Hillary she said what she meant.  We tried to warn the people at DU but they ignored us.

LOL, nice to see the DUmp is the same voice of reason as I remember it being.biggrin

No, I don't think he's a "Trojan Horse", but I do think a cynical political operative like Rove could have forseen all the damage Obama would do to his own party - President Clinton would've coalesced them, President Obama is destroying them.
