Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown picks up his bagel and apple juice to-go as he travels with former Mass. Gov. Paul Cellucci, left, at the Kenmore Diner in Worcester today.
GOP state Sen. Scott Brown urged backers of his come-from-behind campaign for U.S. Senate to keep the faith as he appeared with former Gov. Paul Cellucci at his Worcester headquarters this afternoon.
“This race is close, but it’s not over,” Brown said. “Every vote will count in this election.”

Brown started the day in western Massachusetts, stopping at his campaign office in Holyoke and at a pancake house in West Springfield before events at a diner in Worcester and his Worcester office.
His major event today kicks off at 3 p.m. at Worcester’s Mechanics Hall, where he’ll be joined by Red Sox [team stats] ace pitcher Curt Schilling [stats], Boston College legend and NFL star Doug Flutie, Cheers star John Ratzenberger, and his daughter Ayla Brown.
The rally comes in the shadow of President Obama, who will stump for Attorney General Martha Coakley’s shaky campaign.
“I think Obama’s visit is good for Brown,” said Cellucci. “It will electrify the supporters and remind them that they have to get out there and vote.”
One woman from Worcester, as a matter of fact, the only who told me today, "we need a woman in that office"..............don't know if more feel this way, but I certainly understand needing women in office.
