While I think it would be fabulous, I cannot see [Hillary Clinton] challenging [Barack Obama] unless he stepped down and endorsed her ["A Hillary Clinton Primary Challenge to Obama in 2012?" usnews.com]. Hillary is too loyal to want to rip the party apart. Despite the disgusting way she was treated by the press in 2008, if she really wanted to rap the party over the head for its Obama-haze, she would have fought on to the convention floor—as was her right, since they were so close in delegates. For many reasons, I can't see her running in 2012 unless she is literally drafted to do so.
I come across a lot of people in cyberspace who feel the same way as the author of the above letter. They want Hillary to run, but they don't think she will.
I hope [Hillary Clinton] does challenge the president. I voted for him because she supported him for president after she dropped out. Voting for him is one of the biggest mistakes I have made. If only I knew then what I know now. I have voted Democrat 95 percent of the time. I voted for Reagan because Carter was a disaster. I also voted for a few Republicans in Congress. The president has strayed so far from his campaign speeches that I don't even know who he is when he comes on TV to talk. Do I dare say that I miss Bush? No, I don't at all. But the way [Obama] is going, there doesn't look like there is much difference.
There are several letters that echo this theme-- they were initially part of Hillary's 18 Million but voted for 0 in the general and now they're sorry that they did. These are the people we need to reach.
This next letter looks like it came from a PUMA:
When someone gets more people votes than any Primary candidate from any Party in the history of our country and that person doesn't get the nomination- something is very wrong with the system. The DNC selected Obama, the people elected Hillary. Let the people have their President !!!!
Whether Hillary decides to run or not, one's thing's for certain-- she has plenty of support.
Great post, Jen. I loved the comment by the PUMA. Hillary's loyalty is legendary. So is the loyalty her supporters feel toward her. She inspires by example.

Right now I am listening to the oldies station on the radio and Fleetwood Mac are singing "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow." Just thought I'd share that with y'all.

I didn't know until this weekend that it's not a "free for all" every four years, when there's an incumbent. I didn't get involved in politics until George W. Bush came along. My husband says, unless o-criminal stands down, the party might back him. But I think Barry is SUCH A DISASTER, he may be asked to step aside, since our girl Hil would be a shoe-in, even after Obama's horrible stint.

Hillary should run; Obama is the worst from the DeM Party ; he has to step aside and let Hillary go for the presidency; nobody in the Republican Party or Dem Party is qualified as Hillary is to be our President.Go Hillary!
She she run and the media should stay out of it. Let the voters decide on issues....and not some media image loved person and Sarah Palin's wardrobe!
The last election was a joke and a farce.
I am a Republican. I do not agree with Mrs. Clinton polticially, but she is a highly intelligent lady and was/is qualified to be our president. She was railroaded by the press.
Hillary did not LOSE the nomination. It was STOLEN from her by a thuggish DNC and a sexist frat-boy media getting "leg thrillings" from the likes of barbarians like Matthews and Olbmermann.
Who can forget Obama's "flip-offing" her the day after his disastrous loss in the ABC Debate by pretending to 'scratch' his cheek...
Who will ever forget Obama's supreme 'boardroom humor' camouflaged as:
"Periodically, Hillary feels 'down' and starts launching attacks against me to boost her appeal..."
Obama was the short-pants candidate. And boy, is the world paying for his ignorance. He created 3.5 million refugees and hundnreds of drone-crippled kids in Af-Pak while Bush created 5 million refugees in Iraq...So, like Bush who contributed to the million Iraqi widows working as prostitutes in Jordan/Syria to feed their families, Obama has pushed to prostitution many Afghani and Paki border-region girls and women! Shame....
Yes Hillary should have won. The Media and the Democrats stole this election from her and now we have a man who can't even win the bluest state in the union. I believe she will run and I also think that the fraud is going to pull a Johnson and quit.
Hillary proves time and time again that she is competent and well the President proves he is not.
RISE HILLARY RISE We need you.
I think she will run again
