Post-Partisan: Washington Post columnist says Obama should apologize to Hillary for primary attacks

 

Has hell frozen over?

It seems that way. EJ Dionne, an Obama deadender and relentless Obama defender, has written an analysis of Obama’s failed health care summit that also postulates that the President owes his Secretary of State an apology:

 

'Late in the day, Obama admitted that he has reversed his position on the mandate requiring that everyone buy health insurance. “When I ran in the Democratic primaries, I was opposed to the mandate,” he said, adding that he had to be “dragged kicking and screaming” to the idea. He then offered a very good defense of the mandate, noting that all who have insurance end up subsidizing the emergency room care and other forms of treatment that those without insurance receive.

A suggestion to the president: Tonight, please call Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and apologize for all the bad things you said about her mandate proposal during the campaign. She was right about this issue. You should tell her so.'


Hillary supporters have long known that Hillary was right on policy while Teleprompter Jesus was a balloon full of words.

The balloon has now burst.

This hurts my heart, I thought this a long time ago when he started talking about the mandate.  I remember vividly the pamphlets he put out, and then when he made fun of Hillary when she was on camara with the pamphlets saying shame on you Barack.  He was full of it then as he is now.  He just needed to seem different than Hillary so he put out lies about how we couldn't afford to do a mandate cause how were you gonna make people pay now all of a sudden it's the only way.

I was going to say hell will freeze over before Obama apologizes, but at the rate this winter has been going...hell may very well freeze with or without his LONG OVERDUE apology to Hillary.

BTW, anyone else want to slap Al Gore upside his head after this winter? biggrin

I remember the way he kept saying she was going to put people in jail and now that is what the plan is calling for.  Now he is for it. What a joke.

As far as Al Gore goes:  This is, believe it or not, the hottest year in the recorded history of the world!  The reason you see so much snow is that there is more condensation, that results in more moisture being frozen.  I really hope there is not a denier mentality here, as that amounts to sticking your head in the sand.

Yeah, winters will continue to be cold.  But it is getting hotter and hotter every year.  I want to shake Al Gore's hand, give him an award, have him over for dinner for bringing such an important matter to the forefront!
