Well, another Obot is confused, I see. Trying to develop a movement to counter the "Tea Party," this Obot evidently thought it was all about beverages. lol. I'm sure she knows the movement was named after the historical Tea Party in Boston Harbor. Guess the coffee party name is just a play on words. lol But, on the other hand, if the trend is to develop a movement named for a beverage, I may try to organize the "Bloody Mary Party". After having a couple of Bloody Marys, we'll form a group to deal with the men who are perpetrating increasing levels of violence against women in this country and throughout the world. Appropriate, don't you think? lol Seriously, though. I'm not advocating violence against abusive men - at least not at this forum. lol
Billed as an alternative grassroots movement to the Tea Party, which has been for the most part absorbed by mainline Republicans and Neoconservatives, the “Coffee Party” promised to wake up politically minded Americans and offered a different avenue for the freedom movement.
However, the so called founder of the Coffee Party has been quickly exposed as an Obama campaign operative, whose caffeine concept was purely designed to undermine and co-opt the Tea Party ideology.

I saw a video clip sometime yesterday - the founder of this movement was being interviewed.. The lady was talking - backdrop is brick wall. I cannot find it now; if you find it, do post. Quite obvious that she is an Obama supporter. I wish she would be direct and just say it.
What is really needed is some honest governance. The trouble is we are getting a blend of far left and far right ideologies without balance. The balance is what the centrists need to strive for.
It is really too bad that the moderates are suffering in polls. All this tea and coffee thing is further driving extreme ideologies rather than the moderation that is so needed to get anything done in the country.
