Sinai is a popular place for Israelis to visit, live.

Israel has previously issued many travel advisories, never before an alert to evacuate Sinai.

Israel has excellent antennae in watching terrorism and unrest.

Israel tells its citizens to get out of Sinai now (Forbes.com)

JERUSALEM -- Israel issued an "urgent" warning Tuesday to its citizens to leave Egypt's Sinai Peninsula immediately citing "concrete evidence of an expected terrorist attempt to kidnap Israelis in Sinai."
