School's back in session at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The president will be spending the day in meetings with his inner circle, pow-wowing with Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton throughout the day. Here's what's on deck:

10:00 a.m. -- The president and vice president receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

10:30 a.m. -- The president and vice president receive the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

11:10 a.m. -- The president and vice president meet with Secretary of State Clinton. Possible joking and subsequent nervous laughter about this Sunday's discussion on "Meet the Press" that Clinton may (or may not!) run against Obama in 2012.
