This is such BS.  The woman presented to the agency she was hired from both a SS card and CA drivers license.  As someone who used to have to ask employees for ID that they were eligible for hire, both these documents the housekeeper provided are considered when provided in tandem proof they can be hired by INS rules.

I have no stake in the dog and pony show in CA as I am not a citizen of that state.  But this is the same kind of crap that was thrown Hillary's way every time there was a surge for her.

Gloria Allred should be disbarred.

Yeah I was wondering about the maid's tears! What the heck!

Anyways, the paperwork that was shown looks just fine.  The I-9 is fine except block C should have been completed but that is procedural matter.

If the maid forged her SScard, she is at fault and should be held accountable.

If Meg took action when she became aware from the maid that the maid is here illegally, then Meg is in the clear.
