One of the better debates. There was a lot more focus on policy approach as Candy Crawley really pushed to get away from rhetoric.
All three did good. Candy Crawley did an awesome job as a moderator in keeping the debate focused on the questions.
Interesting. Crist is really quite moderate (Socially moderate, fiscally conservative). As the debate progressed, I found myself agreeing more with Crist (except the part about Robert Wexler!).
Unfortunately, Meeks has bought into the WH rhetoric that private sector jobs have increased from the level that WH inherited. That's inaccurate. Yes, there is a slowing of the job loss RATE.. but total job loss in private sector, and total job loss altogether has resulted in bottomline higher unemployment. So, he should have known not to doll the WH rhetoric. But it is obvious that Meeks is the real social moderate at the table. I was quite impressed with Meeks. I think he has a great future regardless of how this election turns out.
